My designs of R/C models.

Here I will presented all mymodels designs, that I design and build. Many of them can be build from plans, manuals and CNC files, available at my Web Store.

GUPPY electric sailplane

Guppy is my first succsessful model, that concuqer the hearts of many modellers all over the world.

It is a nice wooden sailplane. The Wing is classic balsa construction with spar caps, spar web, ribs and balsa nose sheeting. It is covered with heat shrinkable covering film. A Fuselage  is a simple box made from thick balsa plates. The bottom side is laminated from several balsa layers and glued in proper shape. The tail boom is made from carbon tube that is hidden by four balsa plates.  Complete fuselage is carved by hand to eliptical cross section and covered with heat shrinkable covering film. Model can be made as pure sailplane, or it can be equipped with electric motor for ease of selflaunching.

    Technical data
    Wingspan: 150 cm
    Length: 83 cm
    Wing area: 20,4 dm2
    RTF mass: 450 g

GUPPY 2 electric sailplane

GUPPY 2 is succsessor of previous Guppy, that was published in 2006, and comprise some refinements, some new design details and solutions. It is a nice wooden sailplane. The Wing is classic balsa construction with spruce spar caps, balsa web, ribs and balsa nose sheeting. It is covered with heat shrinkable covering film. A Fuselage  is a simple box made from thick balsa plates. The bottom side is laminated from several balsa layers and glued in proper shape. The tail boom is made from standard carbon tube that is hidden by four balsa plates.  Complete fuselage is carved by hand to eliptical cross section and covered with heat shrinkable covering film. Model can be made as pure sailplane, or it can be equipped with electric motor for ease of selflaunching. Design allso allow use of modern brushles motors and LI-xx cells.

  Technical data:
    Wingspan: 156 or 170 cm
Aileron or just poly wing version
    Length: 83 cm
    Wing area: 20,4 dm2
    RTF mass: 550 g min.

GUPPY MicroSloper

GUPPY 2 is a small glider for the slopes. Due its compact and small dimensions, it can be always prepared for the flight at your car back seat or trunk.Guppy MS love to fly relatively fast and it will give you many happy hours on the slopes. It is tough and will survive many unfortunate landings.

  Technical data:
    Wingspan: 120cm
    Aileron & elevator only
    Length: 68,7 cm
    Wing area: 13,46 dm2

HORNET Sloper from depron

This little model was designed for casual soaring on the slope. It is not large, so it can always be your companion on the back seat of your car. It is entirely made from depron. There are some reinforcements of fuselage and wing from wood.

Technical data:

    Wingspan: 114 cm
    Length: 80 cm
    Wing area: 17,23 dm2
    RTF mass: ~200 g

HORNET F5J electric competition sailplane

HORNET F5J model was designed in 2005 with main goal to get a single model, that could be used in both F5J 7 cells and F5J-400 category, simply by swapping between two different nose cones, each equipped with its own propulsion and battery.

Model is an excelent thermaller, but it is not so good in strong winds (30km/h and up) because of its lightweight wing loading.

 Technical data:

    Wingspan: 186 cm
    Length: 1022 cm
    Wing area: 29,9 dm2
    RTF mass: ~750 g

PALICNJAK F5J-400 Experimental Sailplane

PALICNJAK (Cheleutoptera) was my entry into F4J-400 electric sailplane category. It fly like a dream and with his 3m wingspan and unique appearance, you can fly it far far away and heights, without fear loosing it from sight, or swap with another glider high above. As it has full flying tail (rudder and elevator) it is very meneuverable ad it soar very well as it has extremly low wing loading. Minimum sink and glide angle are exceptional, but penetration into wind is hard as it is so light.
This model is perfect for calm weather.

 Technical data:

    Wingspan: 300 cm
    Length: 140 cm
    Wing area: 35,5 dm2
    RTF mass: ~750 g

ULTRON 3D v.2  full fuse & airfoil aerobactic model

Ultron is my first attempt to design and build a so called "full fuse & airfoiled wing" depron model.

Some data:
  • Wing span: 960 mm
  • fuselage length: 840 mm
  • Wing area: 22,5 dm2
  • RTF weight: 370 g
  • Motor: Robbe Roxxy 2827
  • Propeller: 9"/4,75"-11"/4,75"
  • ESC:18A
  • Battery: Li-Po 3S1P 800 mAh

Many ultrons were build in these years, and makes happy their owners.
